Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage end-to-end
recruitment for site-level positions
, including sourcing, screening, and selection.
Coordinate with line managers and corporate HR for manpower planning and approvals.
Conduct joining formalities, documentation, and
induction programs
for new hires.

2. HR Operations & Administration

Maintain and update employee records in HRIS / ERP.
Handle attendance, leave, and payroll coordination with the central HR/payroll team.
Prepare and submit regular HR MIS and manpower reports.
Ensure availability of HR policies, forms, and communication at the site.

3. Employee Engagement & Welfare

Drive employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and grievance handling.
Act as the
first point of contact
for employees at the site for HR-related queries.
Promote a positive work culture and ensure smooth employee relations.

4. Statutory Compliance & IR

Ensure compliance with all
labour laws and statutory regulations
applicable to the site.
Coordinate with contractors to verify compliance under
CLRA, PF, ESI, Minimum Wages, and other Acts
.
Liaise with local authorities and auditors as required.

5. Training & Development

Identify training needs at the site and coordinate with corporate L&D for implementation.
Maintain training records and ensure 100% compliance with mandatory trainings.

Preferred candidate profile

In-depth understanding of
HR operations, labour laws, and statutory compliance
.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage employee relations and handle grievances tactfully.
Proficiency in
MS Office, HRMS / ERP systems
.
Exposure to
contract workforce management
will be an added advantage.
