Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager Human Resources (Generalist Role)

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 4+

Department: Human Resources

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business leaders to provide strategic HR support aligned with business goals.
Drive end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, policy implementation, payroll coordination, and HRIS management.
Manage employee life cycle activities: joining formalities, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
Act as a change agent and drive initiatives on employee engagement, retention, and culture building.
Coordinating for the performance management process including goal setting, quaterly reviews, and annual appraisals.
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters while ensuring within TAT and empathetic resolution.
Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics for decision-making and strategy.

Requirements:

Education: MBA in HR, MSW, or any equivalent postgraduate qualification in Human Resources.

Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant HR generalist experience.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of compliance and labour laws is essential.

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, HRIS systems, and MIS reporting
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues professionally

Travel: Should be open to travel within the Gujarat State as per business needs.
