Assistant Manager - HRBP

As an Assistant Manager- HR Business Partner at our leading logistics tech client in India, you will play a vital role as an individual contributor in driving the HR strategies and initiatives. With 2-4 years of experience and an MBA in HR preferred, you will be based in Bangalore. Your responsibilities will revolve around regional people partnering, where you will be the primary HR support for regional teams, understanding their challenges and providing actionable solutions. Your role will involve influencing Zonal Heads and Regional Cluster Managers while maintaining a balance between employee welfare and business objectives. Traveling to key cities/zones to establish connections and gather feedback will be part of your routine. Grievance handling and culture building are also key aspects of your role. You will be responsible for addressing employee concerns promptly and with empathy, fostering a values-driven culture, and managing disciplinary matters with discretion. Driving performance management discussions, identifying upskilling needs, and facilitating training programs in collaboration with central HR teams will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring smooth feedback loops, confirmations, and performance evaluations are essential to your role. Engagement and communication play a crucial role in your position. Working closely with city managers to enhance engagement, recognition, and connectivity among employees, as well as conducting regular 1:1s and pulse check-ins, are integral parts of your duties. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2-3 years of experience in HRBP, HR Generalist, or Field HR roles, fluency in at least one South Indian language, experience in managing regional or distributed teams, strong influencing and communication skills, ability to work independently and build trust with the business, and proficiency in HR data tracking and record-keeping.
