Roles and Responsibilities
Asst.Manager The Food Beverage Controller at Converge is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage cost control, inventory management, and financial reporting. This role ensures operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with internal policies and industry standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with the culinary, purchasing, and finance teams to optimize profitability and maintain high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Cost Control Analysis

    : Monitor and analyse food and beverage costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, identify cost-saving opportunities and implement corrective actions, Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analyses.
  • Inventory Management:

    Oversee inventory procedures for food, beverage, and related supplies. Conduct regular audits and stock reconciliations, Ensure accurate recording and valuation of inventory.
  • Purchasing Receiving:

    Collaborate with procurement to ensure cost-effective purchasing, Verify receiving procedures and ensure compliance with quality standards, maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Compliance Standards:

    Ensure adherence to company policies, health regulations, and industry standards, Support internal and external audits
  • Wastage Yield Control:

    Develop systems to accurately capture kitchen and service-level wastage, analyse trends and initiate corrective actions to reduce loss and improve yield efficiency.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory and accounting software (e.g., Micros, SAP, Oracle).
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in multi-outlet or large-scale operations

Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FB cost control, (real estate/hospitality sector preferred)
