We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, SQL, Tableau, and PySpark, with additional exposure to SAS, banking domain knowledge, and version control tools like GIT and BitBucket. The candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring efficient data processing, and supporting business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Python and PySpark
Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau
Implement data models to support analytics and business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
Ensure data integrity, security, and governance across platforms
Utilize version control tools like GIT and BitBucket for code management
Leverage SAS and banking domain knowledge to improve data insights
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for data processing
Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and querying
Experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting
Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing concepts
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of SAS and its applications in data analysis
Experience working in the banking domain
Understanding of version control systems, specifically GIT and BitBucket
Knowledge of pandas, numpy, statsmodels, scikit-learn, matplotlib, PySpark , SASPy
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
