Assistant Manager – Direct Taxation

Role Objective

To support the Direct Tax Manager in managing and executing all aspects of direct tax compliance, reporting, litigation of Pidilite Industries Limited and subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Advance Tax Management

• Assist in computing and ensuring timely payment of Advance Tax to avoid interest liability.
• Maintain schedules and reminders for statutory due dates.

Quarterly Tax Provisioning

• Support preparation of accurate quarterly and year-end tax provisions (Current and Deferred).

TDS, DDT & Director Compensation

• Manage end-to-end TDS cycle: deduction, payment, return filing, and certificate issuance for residents and non-residents.
• Ensure DDT payment post-AGM as per statutory timelines.
• Monitor Director payments for compliance with AGM-approved compensation packages.

Income Tax Return & Audit

• Assist in preparing and filing the Company’s Income Tax Return.
• Coordinate preparation and timely filing of Tax Audit Report.

Tax Litigation & Assessments

• Assist and prepare documentation and submissions for assessments and appeals.

Transfer Pricing Compliance

• Support compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations and Arm’s Length Pricing.
• Assist in filing audited Transfer Pricing returns and reviewing intercompany transactions

Skills & Qualifications

• Inter CA, B. Com, M Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in direct tax, TDS, and transfer pricing.
• Proficiency in Excel, tax software, and SAP systems.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
