Role Overview

As Assistant Manager, you’ll be a key part of our leadership team — supporting daily operations, delivering top-tier guest experiences, and working closely with the Owner on scheduling and future projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll spend time on the floor serving guests and setting the standard for hospitality, while also managing staff and helping Big Poppa’s grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Wait tables and interact directly with guests, ensuring every diner feels welcome and looked after.
• Lead by example on the floor, maintaining smooth service and resolving guest issues when they arise.
• Support the Restaurant Manager and Owner with scheduling, staff management, and daily operations.
• Work closely with the Owner on planning and contributing to future projects and expansions.
• Train and motivate FOH staff, reinforcing Big Poppa’s hospitality and service culture.
• Monitor inventory, assist with stock ordering, and support vendor coordination.
• Handle cash management, billing accuracy, and end-of-shift reconciliations.
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and service standards are consistently met.
• Bring ideas for promotions, events, and guest engagement to the table.

Qualifications

• Prior experience waiting tables and providing excellent FOH service in a busy restaurant.
• Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role preferred.
• Strong people skills: confident, approachable, and service-oriented.
• Reliable, organised, and capable of handling both guest-facing and operational tasks.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours.
• Interest in growing with the company and taking on larger responsibilities over time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
