Assistant Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our business, ensuring exceptional customer service, and assisting in managing staff. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Assist in inventory control by monitoring stock levels and conducting regular audits.
• Support shift management by scheduling staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring optimal performance during shifts.
• Utilize POS systems effectively for transactions and reporting.
• Maintain accurate pricing of products and ensure proper merchandising standards are met.
• Provide training and guidance to new employees on operational procedures and customer service standards.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management on payroll processing and employee performance evaluations.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail or a similar environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in cash handling, including experience with cash registers or POS systems.
• Strong math skills for accurate financial transactions and inventory management.
• Experience in wireless sales or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory effectively and maintain stock levels.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in shift management or team supervision.
