Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

Preparation of product definitions and specifications
To derive concepts based on requirement and ensure conversion of concepts to prototypes.
Analyse project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design.
Design and develop 3d models & 2D drawings.
Selection of Standard bought out items as per requirement.
Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
Generate Bill of Material
Involve in testing and validation and ensure product specifications are met.
Preparation of manuals
Maintain accurate records and files according to quality standard.

Preferred candidate profile

Knowledge of GD&T
Strong knowledge of CAD modelling, assembly and detailing.
Strong knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
Knowledge on PLM will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Creo / Solid works is a must.
Knowledge of Sheet metal / fabrication required
Must be able to select components and ensure conversion of designs from concept stage to production.
