Assistant Manager – Accounts & Audit

Location: Kochi | Department: Audit & Accounts
Organization: IVBM

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Accounts & Audit. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified professional to contribute meaningfully to our operations and grow into a leadership role within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Planning & Execution
Collaborate closely with the Top Management, Manager – Audit & Accounts, and fellow team members to plan and execute internal and statutory audits. Ensure all client accounting requirements are met with precision and professionalism.

Financial Reporting
Prepare and review financial statements, working papers, and reports with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and clarity. Work in tandem with the team to uphold the highest standards of financial reporting.

Team Collaboration & Supervision
Support and guide a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and mutual respect. Encourage knowledge sharing and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of assignments.

Client Engagement
Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, coordinating with the team to collect financial data and address queries efficiently and professionally. Compliance & Internal Controls Ensure adherence to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Work with peers to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Recently qualified with a strong academic foundation.
  • Technical Expertise – Solid understanding of accounting standards, audit methodologies, andfinancial reporting principles.
  • Collaborative Leadership – Ability to lead by example, mentor peers, and contribute to a positive teamdynamic.
  • Analytical Thinking – Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Communication Skills – Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Software Proficiency – Skilled in MS Excel and familiar with standard accounting software.
