Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. HR Operations (Plant HR)

  • Oversee end-to-end HR activities at the Patalganga plant.
  • Ensure timely manpower planning, recruitment support & onboarding.
  • Drive PMS, KRAs, appraisals, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Manage employee engagement, retention, and grievance redressal.
  • Maintain HRMS data accuracy and monthly MIS.

2. Industrial Relations (IR)

  • Maintain harmonious relations with employees, contract workers, and unions.
  • Handle union negotiations, settlements, charter of demands & long-term agreements.
  • Resolve disputes, discipline matters, domestic inquiries & statutory notices.
  • Proactively manage labour contractors, contract workforce, and compliance.
  • Liaison with Labour Department, Factory Inspectorate, ESIC, PF, Police, MIDC, and other authorities.

3. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure 100% compliance as per Factory Act, Labour Laws, ESIC, PF, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, and other regulations.
  • Monitor statutory records, audits (internal & external), and maintain documentation.
  • Handle inspections and respond to authorities professionally and promptly.

4. Administration & Facility Management

  • Oversee plant administration: transport, canteen, security, housekeeping, and welfare facilities.
  • Vendor management for admin services and contracts.
  • Ensure safety, hygiene, and cost-effective operations of admin functions.
  • Manage plant-level events, welfare activities & CSR as required.

5. Policy Implementation & Governance

  • Implement corporate HR policies at plant level.
  • Drive discipline, ethics, and adherence to code of conduct.
  • Support internal audits, compliance audits, and operational excellence initiatives.

6. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead a team of HR, Admin, and IR professionals.
  • Work closely with Plant Head, corporate HR, operations, safety, and other functions.
  • Provide strategic support in manpower planning, training & organization development.
