Assistant Engineer

Job Description

Job Details Description Independently review incoming customer orders and assess their requirements and specifications. Analyze customer request dates and prioritize orders based on agreed-upon delivery commitments. Evaluate material availability by reviewing lead times, in process supply, and on hand inventory levels. Anticipate potential material shortages and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment. Assess available production capacity by analyzing current production schedules and workforce availability. Determine the feasibility of meeting customer order deadlines and prioritize orders accordingly. Communicate ship dates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross departmental teams as needed to address specific order requirements or resolve any issues that may arise. Identify opportunities for process improvements in production planning and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
