Role Summary

Cluster Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Manage the

    end-to-end operations

    of 8–12 Chai Point retail stores in the cluster.
  • Ensure

    smooth day-to-day operations

    including store opening/closing, cleanliness, and adherence to SOPs.
  • Drive

    high standards of product quality, hygiene, and customer service

    across all stores.
  • Conduct regular

    store audits

    and ensure timely closure of action points.

People & Performance Management

  • Lead, coach, and motivate

    Store Managers and on-ground teams

    to deliver operational targets. Ensure adequate

    manpower planning, training, and productivity

    across all stores.
  • Conduct regular

    reviews and performance discussions

    to drive engagement and accountability.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Own and drive

    cluster-level sales, revenue, and profitability targets.

  • Implement

    local marketing activities

    and drive store-level promotions to increase footfall.
  • Analyze

    sales trends and customer feedback

    to identify opportunities for growth.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor and manage

    inventory levels, wastage, and consumption

    at each store.
  • Ensure adherence to

    cost control parameters

    and reduction in operational losses.
  • Work closely with the supply chain to ensure

    timely availability of raw materials

    and packaging.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure

    consistent and superior customer experience

    through regular feedback and service audits.
  • Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
  • Promote a

    customer-first culture

    across the team.

Data & Reporting

  • Track and report

    daily store performance metrics

    (sales, footfall, conversion, shrinkage, etc.).
  • Use data insights to drive operational improvements and decision-making.
  • Present regular reports on

    cluster performance

    and improvement plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in

    Hospitality, Retail Management, or Business Administration

    ).
  • 5–8 years

    of experience in

    retail / QSR / food & beverage

    operations, with multi-store management exposure.
  • Proven ability to

    manage large teams and multiple outlets

    in a fast-paced environment.
