Job Description

The role of leading Sales & Business Development for the Plasters segment in North Kerala, covering 5 key districts with strong gypsum plaster potential requires a dynamic sales professional to enhance market share and foster relationships with Architect contractors, builders, and dealers. Responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end sales activities encompassing both project and channel sales in North Kerala. Building and nurturing relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and dealers are crucial. The role involves driving market penetration, engaging partners, and ensuring post-sales service, while leveraging Gyproc's product portfolio to bolster sales and brand visibility. Sales Value Achievement is a key focus, requiring driving sales through project and trade dealers to meet monthly and annual targets, along with implementing strategies to convert enquiries into orders within the housing and infrastructure segments. Market Development responsibilities involve establishing a comprehensive database of active builders, monitoring construction activities in North Kerala, generating consistent enquiries, and understanding customer buying behaviors. Developing strong relationships with local influencers in the construction sector is essential. Project Dealer Management entails appointing and overseeing project dealers for performance and ROI evaluation, addressing pricing, supply, and service concerns promptly, as well as supporting channel development and enhancing dealer capabilities. Customer Service duties involve ensuring accurate and timely product delivery to sites, collaborating with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction, and efficiently resolving complaints. Competency Development responsibilities include conducting training sessions for applicators and channel partners, focusing on Value-Added Products (VAPs), and equipping partners with comprehensive product knowledge and selling techniques. MIS & Reporting tasks involve regularly updating MS-CRM for enquiry and sales tracking, as well as planning and reporting local market activities such as site demos, dealer meets, and training programs. The ideal candidate should possess strong relationship-building skills with architects, builders, contractors, and dealers, strategic thinking capabilities, problem-solving skills for channel conflict and customer engagement, high energy, entrepreneurial attitude, and familiarity with construction drawings, project sales, and sustainable building practices. Qualifications required for this role include a UG degree in BE Mechanical / Civil / Electrical or equivalent, while a PG degree in MBA is preferred. The candidate should have 5 to 8 years of experience in sales & marketing of building materials or related sectors.,
