Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant located in Dehradun. The Assistant Accountant will handle daily accounting tasks such as data entry, maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports. The role involves reconciling bank statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in audits. Additionally, the Assistant Accountant will support the senior accounting team with budgeting, tax filings, and financial analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in data entry, ledger maintenance, and financial record-keeping
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliation
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in the luxury goods or jewelry industry is a plus
