Role Overview: As an Area Sales Manager for Traditional Trade/General Trade in Punjab, your main responsibility will be to drive primary and secondary sales volume for Baby Care, Feminine Care, and Wellness Care product categories. You will be required to deliver sales targets, monitor performance of channel partners and sales team, develop sales and profitability, and expand the company's reach in the assigned region. Additionally, you will be involved in stock management, sales promotional activities, relationship building with key accounts, and controlling expenditures within budgetary requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver primary and secondary sales targets as per Annual Operating Plan in the assigned territory - Monitor performance of Channel partners and Sales team to identify deviations and plan risk mitigation strategies - Develop and expand Sales & Profitability in the assigned region by adding new accounts and retail partners - Manage stock at depots & Distributors/Super Stockist/Sub-Stockist, control credit, and ensure product range availability - Plan and implement sales promotional activities in collaboration with the Marketing team - Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large accounts - Review visibility of product range at retail counters - Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements - Utilize retail & distribution platforms to improve efficiency and reduce costs Qualifications Required: - Graduation in any stream and MBA/PGDBM in Sales & Marketing - 8-12 years of experience in a large Indian or multinational organization, preferably in the FMCG industry in General Trade - Experience of working in territory is mandatory Company Details: Omit this section as there are no additional details of the company mentioned in the job description.,
