Art Director

As an Art Director at Standard Chartered in Bangalore, IN, you will be responsible for leading and managing the visual direction of creative projects. Your role will involve working closely with creative teams, designers, photographers, copywriters, and project managers to bring concepts to life across various media platforms. You will need to balance creativity with strategic thinking to align visual elements with brand messaging, target audience, and project goals. **Responsibilities:** - **Conceptualization and Vision:** Develop and articulate creative concepts aligning with brand vision and client objectives. - **Team Leadership:** Manage and inspire a team of designers, illustrators, and creatives to maintain consistency and quality. - **Project Collaboration:** Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure creative outputs meet brand standards and project goals. - **Visual Direction:** Oversee all visual aspects of projects ensuring a cohesive look and feel across different mediums. - **Creative Storytelling:** Craft engaging narratives through video editing that align with project vision and target audience. - **Technical Expertise:** Proficiency in editing software with a strong understanding of color grading, audio synchronization, and file formats. - **Brand Identity Development:** Define and enforce brand guidelines for creative assets. - **Resource and Budget Management:** Coordinate resources, manage budgets, and track project timelines for efficient project delivery. - **Creative Problem-Solving:** Address design challenges and aim for innovative solutions to enhance the end product. - **Lead and manage multiple portfolios and get into BD as and when required** - **Motivate and lead managers to perform their best and help manage accounts** - **Budgeting, workflow management, Design QC and process setting experience is a must** - **Design automation/UI expertise would be an added advantage** - **Developing insightful, visually compelling, and engaging dashboards and presentations leveraging existing data sets** - **Hands-on experience in creating CXO friendly presentations, whitepapers, communications, social media content, dashboards etc.** - **Skilled at data exploration; able to quickly transform and synthesize data from multiple sources and identify optimal data structures to support end-state reporting needs** - **Collaborate with other teams within RSE and Business Units in GBS to meet reporting requirements** - **Ability to convey messages in a crisp and simple manner, supported with strong visual aids** - **Looking for opportunities to innovate and get things done better and faster** - **Constructively challenges business on assumptions and goals; asks questions that effectively lead to deeper understanding** **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field. - 5 to 8 years of experience in a creative or art direction role with a strong portfolio showcasing work across various media. - Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.) and familiarity with motion graphics or interactive design. - Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
