Area Sales Manager

• Create and execute a strong sales plan for the assigned area, monitor achievements, and guide the sales team toward meeting targets.
• Ensure timely market visits, punctuality, and disciplined working for self and the team.
• Provide on-field support to the sales team to increase sales volume and resolve market challenges.
• Analyze the market to understand distribution reach, competition activities, and opportunities for deeper market penetration.
• Build and maintain good relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Regularly review team performance, ensure timely reporting, and check adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports with competition analysis and share insights with management.
• Conduct monthly team meetings to review targets, achievements, market feedback, promotional schemes, and distributor-related issues such as payments.
• Follow the planned tour schedule and keep reporting managers updated about any changes.
• Train, guide, and motivate the sales team to improve their performance and achieve business objectives.
• Recommend practical short-term and long-term sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and plan for business expansion in the territory.
• Manage sales expenses effectively by evaluating trade promotions, consumer programs, and participation in local events.
• Present regular business updates, sales achievements, and growth opportunities to senior management.
• Take on special projects or assignments as given by the Marketing Manager or senior leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
