Position Title:

About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing Area Sales Manager with hands-on experience in solar panel sales and channel development. The ideal candidate will drive business growth, build strong relationships with channel partners, and ensure consistent market expansion in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Solar Panels and related products.
  • Develop and manage distributor and dealer networks to maximize market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
  • Conduct product presentations, dealer engagement programs, and training sessions.
  • Track competition activities and market trends to support pricing and sales strategy.
  • Ensure on-ground brand visibility, marketing activation, and demand generation activities.
  • Monitor sales forecasting, order fulfillment, and payment collections.
  • Create periodic sales reports and share actionable insights with the State Head.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational processes, reporting systems, and sales SOPs.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong channel sales experience, preferably in solar / electrical / renewable energy industry.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good understanding of solar products, basic technical knowledge, and market ecosystem.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with functional teams.
  • Result-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation with relevant Solar Sales experience.
