Role Category : Channel Sales Role: Area Sales Manager Job Purpose : The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for managing the channel in the designated area, driving business development, and leading the team to ensure successful sales and market penetration for the Solar division. Primary Job Responsibilities: • Product Introduction & Launch in Channel: Introduce and launch new solar products to the channel, ensuring proper training and product knowledge dissemination. • Business Proposals: Prepare and submit business proposals to channel partners for the expansion of the sales network. • Channel Partner Selection: Identify, evaluate, and select suitable channel partners who align with company values and goals. • Sales Responsibility: Manage and drive the sales of all product categories (solar, inverters, batteries, GTI, solar panels) in the assigned region. • Data Management & Back-End Operations: Ensure timely maintenance and updating of MIS (Management Information System) and provide full support in data management. • Coordination for Product Delivery: Work closely with the commercial departments to ensure timely product delivery to channel partners. • Payment Follow-Up & Collection: Follow up with channel partners for payments and ensure timely collections. • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts with channel partners to ensure accuracy and clarity in financial transactions. • Reporting: Update weekly and monthly reports to management on performance, sales, and market trends. • Market Share Retention & Growth: Focus on increasing market share by ensuring product category growth in each account and ensuring high levels of customer retention. • Team Management: Manage and guide the capabilities of the channel partner teams to ensure effective sales execution and long-term growth. • Other Duties: Carry out any additional duties as assigned by management. Desired Candidate Profile: • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Solar product sales, preferably in channel or system integration roles . Strong knowledge of power products such as Solar, Inverters, Batteries, GTI Sales, and Solar Panels. • Proven experience in channel sales, dealer management, and area sales management.
