Area Sales Manager

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers in a designated area to execute the sales plan. It will be your duty to identify, plan, and develop new customers in alignment with business development targets. Providing appropriate levels of contact, service, and support is crucial to ensure sales targets are met. Monitoring sales performance regularly is essential to identify any deviations from targets and take remedial actions as necessary. Your role will involve planning your visit schedule according to agreed customer service levels for the customer segment. You will be expected to gather, report, and analyze customer feedback and market trends to enhance market penetration. Implementing approved sales strategies in the assigned marketplace, executing sales activities, and reporting on outcomes are key aspects of this role. Building a positive company image, fostering long-term customer relations, identifying business opportunities, and resolving potential problems will also be part of your responsibilities. Regularly providing progress reports and recommendations for marketplace improvements will be essential. Collaboration with other departments to implement service solutions and informing upper management about required sales support levels will be necessary. Maintaining up-to-date customer-related information, possessing expert knowledge of product features and benefits, and adhering to sales and corporate policies/procedures are critical aspects of this position. Your performance will be measured based on achieving AOP targets, Share of Accounts (SOA), Share of Market (SOM) evolution, and adherence to the sales process.
