Area Sales Manager - Retail

Role Overview: As a Sales Manager (Direct) at ABHFL, your main responsibility is to execute sales operations through the Direct channel, in alignment with branch objectives. You will lead and support the Sales Officer team in achieving targets and managing client relationships. Your role involves coordinating with Risk, Operations, and Sales Governance teams to ensure compliant and efficient sales operations, as well as driving cross-selling across ABHFL and ABFSG products/solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and manage sales operations to achieve targets, considering competitive forces and local trends - Scan the local market for opportunities and challenges, and guide team members accordingly - Track target achievement and intervene with sales efforts to ensure success - Communicate sales targets and provide clarity on business goals, role expectations, and product characteristics to enhance sales effectiveness - Deploy schemes to drive sales and profitability, focusing on sales expansion and cost optimization - Provide data for periodic MIS reports on disbursements, profitability, NPAs, and market expansion Qualification Required: - Critical skill sets required include commercial acumen, team management, communication, product-market awareness, and execution skills - Graduation with a minimum of 5-7 years of total sales experience in the Banking/NBFC space, with recent 2-3 years in HFC sales Additional Company Details: ABHFL operates in the Rs. 11.4 trillion Indian Housing Finance market, with a focus on providing housing finance solutions to various customer segments.
