The Sales Officer at ABHFL is responsible for achieving sales targets through direct channels as agreed with the Sales Manager and AH (Sales). This includes meeting targeted book size, growth objectives, and customer service goals. The role involves providing housing finance solutions to buyers, loan against property, commercial property purchase, lease rental discounting, and construction finance to builders across various customer segments. The business is primarily retail-driven, characterized by a high volume of loan transactions and customer relationships, emphasizing the importance of people, processes, and organizational efficiencies. One of the key challenges of the role is executing sales operations to achieve assigned targets while considering local factors such as competitor presence, existing relationships, and new prospect opportunities. Relationship origination and maintenance with ground-level client stakeholders, understanding business needs of institutional/builder customers, and ensuring compliance at all times are crucial for gaining a competitive advantage. The Sales Officer must upgrade financial and operational knowledge, maintain efficient loan processing, and minimize potential NPAs while driving sales operations effectively. Key skill sets required for this role include commercial acumen, communication, product-market awareness, and execution skills. The ideal candidate should be a graduate with 0-2 years of sales experience in the Banking/NBFC space. Responsibilities also include sales planning and operations, customer acquisition/engagement, operational effectiveness, self-development, internal stakeholder management, portfolio, and risk management. The Sales Officer must work closely with the Risk, Operations, and Sales Governance team members to ensure compliant sales operations, sound risk management, and accurate reporting of NPAs and credit trends. Regular training and self-development initiatives are essential to enhance operational effectiveness, productivity, and sales performance.
