Area Sales Manager

You will be joining Peters Surgical, a French multinational company at the forefront of the medical device sector since 1926, with a turnover of 82M Euro. With a global presence in 6 countries and catering to over 90 countries, Peters Surgical is dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the fields of CV & Surgical Specialties. Our product range includes sutures, clamps, clips, meshes, surgical glue, and laparoscopic instruments, all aimed at enhancing patient care. In 2015, we acquired an Indian Suture manufacturer, expanding our product portfolio and growing our employee strength to over 300. Your role will involve maintaining and growing existing account revenues while also identifying new business opportunities within selected procedural areas. You will be tasked with driving sales generation and offering complete solutions to non-enterprise accounts, focusing on high-risk accounts, upselling renewals, and acquiring new business. Customer engagement and product evaluation in the operating theatre will be key responsibilities to ensure customer satisfaction. Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders will be vital, requiring a deep understanding of their needs and preferences. You will be expected to conduct thorough analyses of the competitive landscape, market trends, and factors influencing customers. Developing strategic account plans, negotiating long-term contracts, and achieving sales quotas within the assigned territory will be crucial to your success in this role.
