Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Identify and maintain relationship with Customers, mainly Developers, Architects, Contractors etc and provide them with details of our product, catalogues and specifications.

Update the DSR in the CRM System, regarding the meetings and follow-up meeting along with status and other details of the customers including new customers met. Maintain database of customers in the CRM system and update details of visit, call made, etc.

Regularly conduct survey in the area and newly started projects. Meet customers to understand offering from competitors, product specification, market potential, etc and its impact on our pricing

Estimate the sales projection based on interaction with them and inform the management regarding the same.

Ensure proper documents are received from customers for offering credit to them and forward to CCD for processing

Negotiate and finalise deals with customers and take approval from management in case of deviations from price list, credit terms, delivery timelines, etc

Conduct analysis of the Sales in the Area and identify trends along with the sales team and inform the management of future course of action

Coordinate with the CCD regarding the credit terms, the Order processing team regarding order processing and stock levels, and procurement team regarding the specification of our material and that of competitors.

Guide team members regarding the market potential, products, customers needs, collection of outstandings, etc

Support the HR team in recruitment of Sales team for the Area

Learn about new products, coatings, material, pricing, etc regarding our competitors and substitute products and make suitable recommendations to the management

Preferred candidate profile

Establish and maintain records to assist in accomplishment of established goals

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders

Coordinate team goals with overall goals of the organisation

Mentor the team, provide direction and manage timely performance

Identify training needs and develop training programs to improve skills of team

Plan and manage resources according to agreed budgets

Provide ongoing support to other departments of the organisation
