Area Sales Manager

About the Role: We are seeking graduates with experience in team building and community mobilization, particularly with youth, women, and farmers residing in rural areas. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development initiatives for our NGO in the assigned region. The role involves developing partnerships, generating revenue, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies to support the organization’s social initiatives. About the Organization: Our organization is a renowned NGO based in Bandra, Mumbai, dedicated to community development and social upliftment since its establishment in 1928. We operate multiple centers across Maharashtra and other states, providing vocational training, community engagement, and placement support in collaboration with industry partners. With a strong focus on education, skill development, and empowerment, we primarily support underprivileged youth and women through various initiatives, including: ● Skill Development Programs ● Education for Underprivileged Children ● Women Empowerment Initiatives ● Livelihood & Employment Assistance ● Health & Hygiene Awareness ● Environmental Sustainability Initiatives As a non-profit organization, we continue to make a significant impact by improving lives and creating opportunities for a better future. Roles and Responsibilities: ● Select and manage a team of 5 to 6 community mobilizers in the assigned district. ● Facilitate the team to ensure community awareness through mobilization tools like posters, banners, pamphlets, and motivational videos. ● Build rapport with key village leaders (sarpanch, teachers, caste leaders, ASHA/Anganwadi workers) to seek their support in community mobilization. Location: Valsad, Surat, and Bharuch ● Motivate the team to mobilize youth, women, and farmers to acquire new skills that enhance their income through new initiatives. ● Organize training sessions on various agriculture, dairy, poultry, goatery, masonry, carpentry, house painting, plumbing, etc. (Training of trainers will be conducted by the organization). ● Ensure the distribution of training certificates to qualified community members. Candidate Must Have: ● Graduate degree (NGO or any industry experience preferred) ● Should own a bike and an Android mobile ● Good communication skills ● Willingness to work in the field ● Proactive and self-motivated mindset ● Monday to Saturday - Sunday off Show more Show less
