Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Role Overview:

Plan & achieve defined sales & collection plan deployed for the allocated region.
Achieve product wise monthly sales targets for the assigned Territory.
Territory Mapping and identification of potential market.
Achieve monthly primary & secondary value sales target of the area for the entire product range
Collaborate cross-functional to drive product launches, promotions, Schemes and campaigns
Efficient utilization of man-days through creation and monitoring of beat plan for SOs,
Re-organize sales beats to optimize sales efficiencies and sales targets.

Sales Team Management

Forecast requirement of SOs in geography & ensure recruitment, maintain manpower strength
Set targets for SOs, distributors, DSRs for each product based on trends and seasonality.

Distribution & Receivables

Ensures that Distributor claims are settled within prescribed period as per the corporate norms
Ensure sufficient stock availability with the distributors and movement of secondary stocks.
Tracking Age-wise collection and Receivables, Reconciliation with the Distributors

Data Reporting, Audit & Collection

Responsible for timely submission of sales tracking and other daily reports.
Tracking competitor information.

Requirements:

Proven experience of 8+ years in FMCG sales roles with a focus on channel distribution.
Must have strong working experience in Jammu and Kashmir region.
Must be working as an ASM currently in an FMCG company.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
