Area Sales Manager - Forklift

Key Responsibilities

• Present, promote, and sell electric forklifts and warehouse equipment to existing and prospective customers using cost-effectiveness and ROI-based selling.
• Conduct detailed cost-benefit and needs analyses of existing/potential customers to recommend suitable solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, referrals, and cold calling.
• Educate prospective customers and support existing clients with product information, demonstrations, and technical assistance.
• Offer equipment trials or rentals to showcase product capabilities and convert prospects.
• Monitor market competition, including pricing, products, and strategies, and share insights with the management team.
• Manage the complete sales process: lead generation, techno-commercial discussions, quotations, negotiation, sales closing, order booking, and payment follow-up.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Ensure timely submission of daily and weekly MIS reports to the reporting manager.
• Identify, evaluate, and appoint potential dealers, channel partners, and canvassing agents in the assigned territory.
• Provide support and training to channel partners to enhance their performance and product knowledge.
