Role & responsibilities Position: Field Sales ASM / RSM / ASE / SSO Salary Range: 30,000 – 35,000 per month (Plus Travel Allowance & Incentives) Role Overview: The Field Sales team is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, managing distributors/retailers, and ensuring strong product visibility across the assigned territory. The role includes daily market visits, relationship management, and achievement of primary and secondary sales targets. --- Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Target Achievement Achieve monthly primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned area/region. Plan and execute beat routes to maximize coverage and outlet productivity. Track daily sales performance and implement corrective actions where required. 2. Market Visits & Customer Management Conduct regular market visits to retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure repeat business and market expansion. Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising at all outlets. 3. Distribution & Channel Management Coordinate with distributors for stock availability, order processing, supply, and claims. Assist in appointing new distributors and opening new retail outlets. Monitor distributor ROI, stock levels, and service quality. 4. Team Coordination (ASM / RSM Level) Guide, monitor, and review work of field executives/SSOs/ASEs. Support the team with planning, training, and field execution. Lead area/regional meetings and performance reviews. 5. Competitor & Market Analysis Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends. Share timely market insights with management for better strategy planning. 6. Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily sales reports, beat plans, and visit records. Provide weekly and monthly MIS reports to management. Ensure compliance with company policies and sales processes. --- Skills & Requirements: Graduate / MBA preferred. Minimum 1–5 years of field sales experience (FMCG/Consumer Goods preferred). Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to meet targets and manage a fast-paced field environment.
