Urgent opening for Area Sales Manager- Solar company with Good salary, Attractive Allowances

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager (Solar) to lead sales operations across Karnataka, with a focus on the Bangalore region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving solar product sales, managing channel partners, expanding dealer/distributor networks, and achieving business growth targets in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for solar products (Rooftop, EPC, Inverters, Panels, Batteries, etc.) in Karnataka.
  • Manage, support, and expand dealer/distributor networks and channel partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive institutional, industrial, and residential solar sales.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular market visits, competitor analysis, and business intelligence.
  • Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to provide pre-sales and after-sales support.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team under the region.
  • Submit timely MIS reports, sales forecasts, and market feedback to management.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Graduate in Engineering / Science / Business; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: 5–8 years in Solar / Renewable Energy / Electrical Product Sales with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or regional role.
  • Strong understanding of solar power solutions, government policies, and subsidy models.
  • Proven track record in channel sales, institutional sales, or project sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across Karnataka.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore.
