Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our battery sales operations in AP The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in primary and secondary sales, target achievement, scheme implementation, and payment collection. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships with customers and channel partners, and driving revenue growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth across Vijayawada to Tirupati areas
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and distributors in the region.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the existing customer base in AP Market
  • Drive both primary and secondary sales, ensuring timely payment collection and minimizing debt.
  • Implement and manage sales schemes, promotions, and programs to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to channel partners and sales teams to enhance performance.
  • Regularly monitor and report on sales performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in sales, preferably in the battery industry.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and managing channel partners.
  • Strong understanding of the battery industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer needs specific to AP Market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regions in AP- Vijayawada to Tirupati area

  • Experience in managing a sales team.
