Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned

    primary and secondary sales targets

    for the territory through effective planning and execution.
  • Manage and drive performance of

    Sales Representatives (SRs)

    ensuring adherence to defined roles, KPIs, and productivity norms.
  • Conduct

    regular joint field working

    with SRs to improve market coverage, visibility, and outlet productivity.
  • Develop, appoint, and manage

    distributors

    in alignment with company strategy and territory demarcation.
  • Ensure

    optimal stock availability

    across distributors based on secondary sales movement and demand planning.
  • Drive

    100% market coverage

    through effective territory mapping, manpower deployment, and route planning.
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor

    Permanent Journey Plan (PJP)

    with minimum 90% adherence.
  • Track distributor- and SR-wise performance including

    stock, order booking, dispatches, outlet coverage, and collections

    .
  • Monitor daily secondary sales targets and ensure

    accurate and timely updates in Bizom

    or other SFA tools.
  • Identify new retail and distribution opportunities to expand market presence.
  • Review team performance through

    daily, weekly, and monthly MIS

    , and share insights with senior management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, systems, processes, and training programs.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate

    in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
  • 45 years of experience

    in

    FMCG Sales

    , preferably in

    Tea / Food & Beverage / Packaged Food

    segment.
  • Strong experience in

    General Trade (GT)

    and distributor-led sales model.
  • Proven track record in handling

    primary & secondary sales

    and achieving targets.
  • Hands-on experience in

    distributor management, team handling, and market development

    .
  • Proficient in

    Bizom or similar Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools

    .
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in

    MIS, sales reviews, and data-driven decision making

    .
  • Excellent

    communication, negotiation, and people-management skills

    .
  • Willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Local market knowledge

    of

    Palanpur / Himmatnagar / North Gujarat

    preferred.
