Job Description

Responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets within a specific geographical area.

Experience in pharma company required as a ASM

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:Recruit, onboard, train, and continuously coach a team of sales representatives, enhancing their selling skills, product knowledge, and market understanding.Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and implement development plans to maximize individual and team potential.Motivate and inspire the team to consistently achieve and exceed sales quotas and KPIs.Sales Strategy & Execution:Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans for the assigned territory to achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify new opportunities and adapt sales approaches.Ensure effective territory management, route planning, and call cycle adherence by the sales team.Performance Management:Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities and results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Conduct regular field visits with sales representatives to provide in-the-moment coaching, evaluate performance, and identify challenges.Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management.Customer & Market Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders within the assigned area.Address customer concerns and escalated issues promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Act as a brand ambassador, promoting company values and products in the market.Reporting & Administration:Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required sales reports, expense reports, and administrative tasks.Utilize CRM tools effectively to track sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.

Exp.- Min. 1 yr experience required as a ASM in pharma industry
