Area Project Head

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:-

Business Development & Sales:-

• Drive sales of building materials/products to builders, developers, contractors, and institutional clients.
• Identify new project opportunities within the assigned area/region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in builder and construction companies.

Project Management & Execution:-

• Track ongoing and upcoming builder projects for business opportunities.
• Ensure timely coordination with project teams for product approvals, specifications, and material supply.
• Monitor project execution to ensure product usage as per company standards.

Market Development & Networking:-

• Map the market for potential builder accounts and projects.
• Engage with architects, consultants, and procurement heads to generate demand and secure approvals.
• Develop strategies to increase the companys penetration in the builder segment.

Team & Channel Coordination:-

• Coordinate with internal sales, technical, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth project deliveries.
• Support channel partners/distributors for builder-related projects.
• Provide guidance and training to on-ground sales staff regarding builder requirements.

Reporting & MIS:-

• Maintain an updated database of key builder accounts, ongoing projects, and future pipeline.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, project progress, and competitor activities.
• Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to suggest corrective actions.

Relationship Management:-

• Build long-term associations with leading builders and developers in the territory.
• Resolve client issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms related to real estate and construction.
