Job Description

Role & responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional marketing plans, including market research, competitor analysis, and identification of target customer segments. Team Management: Manage a team of marketing personnel, including field sales representatives, to ensure effective execution of marketing plans and achieve sales targets. Marketing Execution: Implement marketing campaigns and activities, such as demonstrations, field days, promotions, and dealer meetings, to generate demand and drive sales. Sales Performance: Track and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to achieve sales targets. Budget Management: Manage the regional marketing budget effectively, ensuring that marketing activities are cost-effective and aligned with company objectives. Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and adjust marketing plans accordingly. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, dealers, distributors, and other industry partners. New Product Launch: Coordinate with the product development team to ensure the successful launch of new products within the region. Sales Team Training: Provide training and support to the sales team to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as a digital marketing certification, can be beneficial. Strong understanding of the agricultural industry and market trends. Experience in developing and implementing marketing plans. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience managing a team and motivating others. Experience in the agricultural sector, particularly in marketing or sales roles, is highly desirable.
