Area Manager Product and Portfolio

As a Regional Collections Manager, you will be responsible for handling an entire region for collections. Your main focus will be on identifying and developing measurement standards to improve the performance and professional effectiveness of the collections team in the region. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing strategic plans aligned with the division's objectives - Supporting the workforce plan development by providing input on workforce forecasts - Managing and controlling the operating framework for the department to achieve high performance standards and continuous improvement - Ensuring the region's NPAs are maintained at minimum trigger levels - Overseeing and managing the Agency Management process - Conducting personal visits for high-value cases that require special attention You will also be accountable for: - Maximizing returns on each pool and focusing on lower delivery cuts - Collaborating closely with the Business and support team for quick issue resolution - Working with legal counsel and various levels of management on sensitive collection situations - Researching competitor policies and defining suitable collection policies and trigger mechanisms In terms of people management, you will be responsible for: - Developing a talent pipeline for key roles and mentoring high-potential talent - Monitoring and enabling the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports - Providing guidance, feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to individuals within the department When it comes to risk and internal control responsibilities, you will need to: - Ensure that vendors, in-house staff, and processes in the region comply with audit perspectives and company policies - Periodically review processes to identify and mitigate any associated risks This job description does not include any additional details about the company.,
