Area Credit Manager

• Team leading experience
• Physical PD (Personal Discussion) experience
• Mandatory exposure in Home Loan, Affordable Housing, LAP, Mortgage
• Experience in handling ticket size upto or less then 1Cr
• Based in Mumbai and available for face-to-face interview
• Comfortable with 5-day working (Alternate Saturdays working)

About the Role

Lead and manage the credit assessment team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the credit assessment team.
• Assess borrower profiles, repayment capacity, and income stability.
• Conduct physical PDs by visiting customer business premises, property, and residences.
• Analyze reported and unreported business income/expenses.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness, repayment intent, and financial background.
• Review and interpret legal, technical, and internal check reports of properties.
• Underwrite and sanction Home Loan / LAP files sourced by sales.
• Review post-sanction conditions before disbursement.
• Recommend cases to supervisors based on deviation/approval matrix.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth credit processing.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies and defined TATs.
• Monitor non-starters / first EMI bounce trends.
• Maintain and report MIS to track portfolio performance and risk.
• Continuously enhance underwriting capabilities based on portfolio insights.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 6+ years of credit experience.
• Strong domain knowledge of the affordable housing finance segment.
• Proven ability in team handling and underwriting.
• Hands-on experience in PD, home loan, mortgage, LAP.
• Analytical mindset with strong decision-making and communication skills.
