Role & responsibilities The position is essentially responsible for evaluating, ideating, conceptualizing and driving strategic initiatives for prot, keeping in mind the overall organization Vision. The role holder is responsible for the revenue generation through sales and service to DTDC customers for the assigned region. The role holder should oversee all portfolios of sales DP sales, channel sales, retail and international in the specied area. Additionally, the role holder is also responsible for the CRM, hub operations, HR and other administrative activities in the area. FINANCIAL Responsible for the P&L of the region and should work towards increasing revenue and reducing costs Oversee generation of revenue for assigned region as per annual growth targets & departmental goals Review collection of Cash on Delivery consignments on a regular basis and bridge gaps if any TACTICAL Understand the market forces, dynamics and focus on improving Regional performance Liaise with DP team, Channels team, retail and International teams to do active business development and increase the revenue share of the assigned region Taking care of a set of Regional and National Key accounts and ensuring proper engagement and relationship management. Ensure Maximum wallet share and retention. Identify opportunities to increase the protability by coordinating with eet and accounts department Responsible for Network Expansion and Collections. OPERATIONAL Oversee the service operations of all customers in the assigned region as per dened TATs and policies Leading the team of Regional Channel Managers, Area Managers, Channel executives and Branch managers to deliver Budgeted Revenue Responsible for maintaining the service performance and CRM operations for the region as per dened norms and benchmarks Also responsible for overseeing the last mile, rst mile and gateway operations Oversee and manage all the activities and operations and ensure the operations are smooth and uninterrupted In case of any escalations, immediately attend to the same & provide amicable solution to the customer Ensure that the work is in accordance with established professional standards and remain abreast of emerging trends and best practices that can be incorporated into the function Resolve any issues which may arise during the course of the dierent processes. PEOPLE Oversee all the HR and Administration activities of all the employees working in the assigned area Meet regularly with the reporting manager to report the status of ongoing activities, educate/inform them of emerging risks and/or exposures (whether internal or external to the company) that should be considered as part of their day-to-day workings Groom and guide AMs to ensure revenue targets are met and KPIs are achieved Identify training needs for the team and recommend the trainings to the management Oversee facilitation of a conducive work environment that ensures high employee engagement levels in the team Provide leadership guidance to the employees in the zone across all LOBs Preferred candidate profile QUALIFICATION Post Graduate Degree in any domain At least 8-10 years of experience of working in as a Area Manager / Franchise Manager for a pan-India organization Experience in a Logistics industry or related eld is an added advantage KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Expertise in understanding the business and support processes of DTDC Good convincing skills to talk to customers Good task prioritization and organizational skills Good stakeholder management skills Problem solving and logical thinking abilities with attention to detail Good observation skills Ability to work in teams
