an Applied Economist - Full-Stack Data Science (R + Shiny

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with raw financial and operational data: extract, clean, analysis & visualize
• Analyze trends, performance, and variances to support strategic decisions
• Build and maintain dashboards using

  Shiny

  or similar tools
• Automate financial reporting and create forecasting models
• Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and deliver insights
• Suggest improvements in processes using data

Required Skills:

• Use

  R (preferably)

  or Python to handle real-world, messy data
• Build and deploy

  Shiny dashboards

  on servers for real-time insights
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of financial metrics and forecasting
• Ability to work independently and communicate insights clearly

Ideal Profile:

• Trained in

  Economics / Applied Statistics / Data Science

• Fluent in

  R (must-have)

  , especially for dashboarding via

  Shiny

• Strong understanding of

  causal inference, forecasting, and behavioral trends

• Comfortable with

  backend deployment

  (server-side, not just frontend tools)
• Bonus: Experience with

  healthtech/pharma/wellness data
