15 years full time educationSummary: WAN, SDWAN, Internet –ISP Expert - The Network Support Engineer will possess a strong background in enterprise routing technologies and basic log analysis skills using Splunk. The candidate will handle escalated operational issues, assist in routing configuration changes, and support core WAN/LAN infrastructure under the guidance of L3 teams. This role is ideal for professionals certified with Cisco CCNP (ENARSI or ENSLD), who are experienced in day-to-day network troubleshooting. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide Level 2 support for routing-related incidents across enterprise WAN/LAN environments.? - Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and static routes.? - Assist in implementing routing changes, path selection policies, QoS and configuration updates.? - Provide support for CISCO Viptela and Meraki. ? - Understanding of hybrid connectivity topologies. Maintain and troubleshoot for cloud interconnectivity.? - Use basic Splunk searches to analyze logs, troubleshoot routing anomalies, and support incident diagnosis.? - Coordinate with service providers for circuit-level escalations and performance issues.? - Monitor and track link availability, interface status, and routing tables.? - Maintain documentation including network topology diagrams, SOPs, and incident records.? - Ensure tickets are updated with resolution details and escalated as needed within SLA timelines. Professional & Technical Skills: - 3–9 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network operations.? - Strong understanding of:? Routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP? Route filtering, redistribution, and summarization? IP addressing, subnetting, and WAN connectivity? CISCO Meraki? - Familiarity with Cisco IOS CLI, QoS and configuration standards.? - Good to have knowledge of CISCO Viptela? - Basic experience using Splunk for reviewing network logs and events.? - Comfortable working with NOC tools, ticketing systems, and remote troubleshooting utilities.
