15 years full time educationSummary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the seamless operation of applications to support business objectives. You will engage in troubleshooting activities, utilizing your expertise to enhance system reliability and performance, while also documenting findings and solutions for future reference. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity of business operations and ensuring that systems function optimally to meet user needs. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for enhancement to ensure optimal functionality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Splunk, Reporting Analytics, Security Risk Assessment. - Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve application issues effectively. - Familiarity with scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency. - Understanding of system architecture and integration points to facilitate effective support. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Linux. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
