Application Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Software Engineer with strong expertise in C, C++, and Qt framework to design, develop, and maintain cross-platform software applications. The ideal candidate will focus on creating efficient, reliable, and user-friendly Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for industrial, embedded, or desktop systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize applications in C and C++, with a strong focus on performance and memory efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Qt-based GUIs for intuitive and responsive user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, and product design) to integrate software with embedded/industrial systems.
• Write modular, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices (OOP, design patterns, coding standards).
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications across Windows, Linux, and embedded platforms.
• Work with multithreading, inter-process communication, and real-time data handling for responsive applications.
• Interface with hardware using serial, Ethernet, Modbus, or custom communication protocols when required.
• Prepare technical documentation for code, architecture, and system integration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes, including version control, CI/CD, and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in C and C++ (C++11/14/17 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Qt framework (Qt Widgets, Qt Quick/QML, Qt Creator).
• Experience in GUI design, UX principles, and event-driven programming.
• Solid understanding of OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with multithreaded programming and real-time systems.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows development environments.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred/Optional Skills

• Experience with embedded Linux, Raspberry Pi, or ARM-based systems.
• Exposure to industrial protocols (Modbus, CAN, Profinet, etc.).
• Familiarity with unit testing, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of signal processing, data visualization, or hardware control systems.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in application software development with C/C++ and Qt.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹133,058.64 - ₹600,000.00 per year
