Application Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET technologies, database development, frontend integration, and enterprise application architecture.

Skill / Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in developing applications using .NET 4.5, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Angular, WCF, WPF, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and Design Patterns.
• Experience using modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect.
• Strong expertise in RDBMS concepts, SQL programming, and database administration fundamentals.
• Proven experience working with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• In-depth understanding of data management, including permissions, recovery, monitoring, and security.
• Experience in building and consuming REST APIs, working with JSON, and integrating middleware technologies.
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, .NET Framework, and other web technologies.
• Excellent analytical skills, organizational abilities, and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand front-end requirements and collaborate effectively with UI/UX teams.
• Strong problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is an advantage.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or automation tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based enterprise applications using .NET 4.5 (C#, ASP.NET), .NET Core, Angular, WCF, WPF, AJAX, and related technologies.
• Work on end-to-end enterprise application development and deployment, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Apply strong OOP principles and Design Patterns in solution design; utilize tools such as Enterprise Architect for modeling and documentation.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain relational database structures and queries in SQL Server and Oracle environments.
• Perform database development activities, including stored procedures, triggers, indexing, performance tuning, data recovery, security, and monitoring.
• Develop and integrate REST-based services, JSON data structures, and middleware technologies for seamless application communication.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to understand UI/UX requirements and ensure smooth integration with backend components.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.
