Application Production Support - Cloud Engineer (Kubernetes, Docker)

The primary purpose of the position will be to support BNL Application Production and DevOps teams in their CHANGE activities, primarily:

- Support projects Cloud and AI (OCAI)

- Migration to Cloud environment - Petal2Core (AP)

- Capacity & FinOps (AP)

- Performance Stress test DMZR (AP)

- Support for evolution of Digital Channels (AP)

Responsibilities

• Ensuring smooth and efficient transition of IT projects during the operational phase
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve potential issues during the transition process
• Continuously improving transition and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
• Coordinate closely with Rome IT Application Production Teams working on IT Evolution program and all other BNL BNP Paribas IT teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• A proactive and results-driven approach to work

• Help build team spirit and integrate into BNL BNP Paribas culture
• Contribute to the regular activity reporting and KPI calculation
• Contribute to continuous improvement actions, especially the lessons learned from handovers to Paris
• Contribute to the acquisition by ISPL team of new skills & knowledge to expand its scope

• For the reinforcement of our team, we are looking for an Application Production Supports with these skills:

1. Infrastructure Administration Open Environment:

o Cloud Native Application with focus on IBM cloud (Platform as a Service)

oFamiliarity with Cloud technology

Kubernetes

Docker

RedHat OpenShift

o Operating System :

- RedHat Linux 6.x, 7.x, 8.x

- Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019

o System Scripting (Shell, Python, ecc.)

o DevOps tools including Ansible & Python

o Installation, configuration, backup, Performance & Tuning

o Capability to execute basic scripts and queries

o Websphere Application Server 7.x, 8.x, 9.x (Network Deployment, Base and Liberty Core)

General competences:

- Knowledge of ITIL

- General IT infrastructure knowledge

- Knowledge of IT production backup and resilience setup (High Availability setup, Disaster Recovery Plan, etc.)

- Service Now ticketing system

Basic knowledge of Italian language can be an advantage
