15 years full time educationSummary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will engage in problem-solving activities, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the overall success of projects by delivering high-quality applications that align with business objectives. Roles & Responsibilities: Release Management: 1. Plan, schedule, and control the end-to-end release lifecycle, from development to production. 2. Coordinate with multiple teams (Development, QA, Product Management, Operations) to manage dependencies and ensure successful releases. 3. Define and enforce release management policies, standards, and best practices. 4. Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and go/no-go decisions. 5. Communicate release schedules, progress, and status to all stakeholders. 6. Manage and track all changes, including software builds, configurations, and documentation. 7. Develop and maintain a robust rollback plan for each release to mitigate risks. 8. Lead and coordinate post-release activities, including monitoring and issue resolution. DevOps: 1. DevOps Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. 2. Utilize and manage DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, CircleCI) to optimize the software delivery lifecycle. 3. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing, security scanning, and other quality checks into the pipeline. 4. Champion and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) to automate infrastructure provisioning. 5. Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) to manage and scale infrastructure. 6. Implement and manage containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to ensure consistent environments. 7. Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and performance. 8. Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices. Collaboration & Leadership: 1. Act as the primary point of contact for all release-related activities and communications. 2. Mentor and guide development and operations teams on release and deployment best practices. 3. Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing process enhancements. 4. Promote collaboration and a shared sense of ownership across all teams. Additional Information: 1. The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in DevOps. 2. A 15 year full time education is required.
