Appian Developer - Lead

Appian Lead

This role requires deep Appian expertise, strong hands-on development skills, and proven experience leading Agile teams through the full software development lifecycle — from design and development to deployment and post-production support.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Lead the

  design, development, and implementation

  of complex Appian BPM applications.
• Define and enforce

  Appian best practices

  , coding standards, and architecture patterns.
• Conduct

  solution design reviews

  and provide guidance on scalability, reusability, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to integrate Appian applications with external systems via

  REST APIs

• Review and validate all Appian objects, ensuring

  maintainable, secure, and efficient

  code.
• Oversee version control, deployment pipelines, and environment management (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).

Agile Delivery & Team Management

• Lead an Agile delivery team through

  sprint planning, grooming, estimation, demos, and retrospectives

  .
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with product owners and business analysts.
• Guide developers in story refinement, acceptance criteria definition, and technical implementation.
• Coordinate with

  QA, DevOps, and production support

  teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Participate in

  daily standups

  ,

  cross-functional meetings

  to drive project success.

Development & Quality Assurance

• Design and develop advanced

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• 7–12 years

  of total IT experience with

  5+ years

  in Appian BPM development and design.
• Strong expertise in

  Appian 21.x or later

  , including SAIL, Process Modeler, Records, Reports, and Integrations.
• In-depth understanding of

  Appian architecture

  ,

  object design

  ,

  environment setup

  , and

  deployment pipelines

  .
• Proficiency in

  REST/SOAP integrations

  RDBMS (SQL/PL-SQL)

  Appian plug-ins

• Hands-on experience with
