Job Title: FOB Sourcing Executive – Apparel

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Salary: ₹7,00,000 – ₹8,00,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier Identification & Evaluation: Research and identify potential suppliers for fabrics, trims, and finished garments, ensuring they meet quality, compliance, and cost standards.

2. FOB Pricing & Negotiation: Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable FOB (Freight on Board) pricing, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and company goals.

3. Sample Development & Approval: Coordinate with suppliers to develop and approve samples, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.

4. Production Monitoring: Oversee the production process to ensure timely delivery of orders, adherence to quality standards, and resolution of any production issues.

5. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

6. Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring mutual growth.

7. Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sourcing strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in apparel sourcing, with a focus on FOB operations.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with sourcing and procurement software is a plus.

4. Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.

5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is required.

6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

7. Travel: Willingness to travel to supplier locations as needed
