Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features, and continuously improving app performance and usability. Key Responsibilities: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define, design, and ship new features. Work with external APIs and data sources. Troubleshoot and fix bugs to improve performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven software development experience and Android skills development. Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java . Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries available for common tasks. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, etc.). Familiarity with Firebase, Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt. Experience in publishing apps on Google Play Store. Understanding of agile development methodologies.
