Role Overview: You will be an Android engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience, focusing on native development with Kotlin. Your role will involve implementing MVVM design principles and RESTful services for Android applications. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze requirements and collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design software solutions of moderate scope and complexity. - Work closely with UI and UX teams to ensure requirements traceability from definition to implementation. - Participate in peer reviews and pull requests to ensure high-quality software. - Follow coding standards and best practices to create reusable code. - Write unit tests to ensure code quality. - Interface with Product Owners and Scrum Masters for effective ticket/issue management. - Develop complex views that interact with network and data layers. - Make additions and improvements to network and data layers. - Lead a team through large refactors and design improvements. - Act as the primary point of contact across multiple scrum teams for interactions with various functional teams. - Participate in technical assessments, scoping, and management of changes to the code base based on new business requirements. - Estimate work, support project plan creation, and report progress to functional management at a project level. - Present software concepts, designs, or code in design review forums. - Contribute to technical discussions in the community of practice and design review forums. - Maintain platform-specific software knowledge of key features, frameworks, and components.
