Role Overview: As a Performance Testing Engineer specializing in Load Testing of Applications at Hitachi Energy, you will collaborate with team members to test highly available, scalable, and reliable software. Your role involves working on technical challenges, facilitating collaborative efforts within the scrum team and across product teams, and being an expert performance engineering resource on multiple initiatives. You will troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex problems while delivering quality software to customers. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with internal and external customers to understand technology requirements for key projects - Evaluate application architectures and design performance test plans - Establish performance test objectives, validate acceptance criteria, workload profiles, and use case scenarios - Measure and analyze performance data (workload, system, and application) - Collaborate with development teams, architects, and engineers to test products under load and provide recommendations for performance improvement - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field - 3 to 6 years of experience in Performance Testing - Expertise in load testing tools such as JMeter, K6, LoadRunner, SOAPUI, Zabbix, Selenium, etc., Jira, and Zephyr Scale - Knowledge of server/website and API testing, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, SQL, and PostgreSQL - Strong self-driven collaborator with the ability to work in diverse teams - Proven data analysis and problem-solving skills - Good written and verbal communication skills in English with meticulous attention to detail Note: Hitachi Energy values safety and integrity, emphasizing responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business.
